                                     ...history meets destiny

In East Tennessee a secret city was built that changed the course of history

Now that city is destined to create motorsports history

The story of these legendary hills continues. Once rural farmland, a prophet saw the future of this beautiful valley "They will be building things, and there will be great noise and confusion and the earth will shake.'' Forty years later Dorothy Moneymaker's stubborn stand to save the family farm gave way to General Grove's audacious plan to end a war. The Manhattan Project seemed the only hope for bringing peace.

It is with great pride that Fast Visions of Tennessee brings a new chapter to the epic story of these historic grounds and the secret city that helped end World War II.

Motorsports has a new destination!

Thousand Suns International Road Course  will be 3.7 miles of exciting Tennessee roads built to international roadracing standards (FIM/FIA). Preservation of history, safety and spectator's enjoyment are key considerations throughout the design phase and will provide an unparalleled experience in American roadracing. Charging down the 4,440 foot "Avenues" at over 200 mph. Then winding through the last turns of "Moneymaker"... looking for the finish line. This will be a story of history and destiny.

Oak Ridge and world championship motorsports will produce legendary results.

Heritage Center site in 2008

Federal, municipal and motorsports organizations have participated in plans to create this cornerstone venue for the Heritage Center. Award winning reindustrialization efforts are converting the 900 acre historic K-25 site into a municipal industrial park. On the foundation of what was once the world's largest building will lay an FIA/FIM spec roadracing facility.

Located between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau, this picturesque valley will be a new motorsports experience.

The Oak Ridge National Laboratories are pioneering leaders in the scientific research of energy and materials. Whether it's powering spacecraft to other galaxies or discovering exciting products for the most advanced performance machines in the world, it all started here. The new Spallation Neutron Source will be the most advanced accelerator-based science research facility in the world. All of this combined with a community of skilled precision trades makes Oak Ridge the new source for an edge on the competition.

Bringing the world together through the spirit of motorsports.

Fast Visions of Tennessee was created with a passion for motorsports by individuals that were willing to make a commitment to a dream.  It is our belief that America is ready to engage on the international racing scene in an unprecedented way... and Oak Ridge, Tennessee is the place.
